Hatha Yoga

If you are wanting to move through a gentle sequence designed to restore mobility, increase flexibility and ease stiff & achy muscles and joints, an opportunity to relax the mind & the body, to experience powerful pranayama (breathing) practices and ease into a gentle, restorative meditation then this class is for you! Working within your present capacity only reaching into stronger poses once the foundations are stable.


Yin Yoga

Floor postures are held passively with the support of props for several minutes in order to access a safe and positive ‘stress’ on the deeper layers of connective tissue in the body. It's slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and sensations in your body. The Yin Yoga class will leave you relaxed and restored and may assist with healing from injuries as well as improve flexibility


Gentle Yoga

It’s perfect for tired or sore muscles, ideal for beginners, seniors or those seeking slow and mindful practice to balance out the bustle. Gentle yoga classes move at a steady pace, slowly moving though a series of floor based or seated postures (asanas). Though you can expect a few standing postures, you'll spend the majority of class on your mat.


Yoga for Seniors

A supportive and friendly class to help you gently tone, improve flexibility and strengthen your body, ease mental tension and soothe the mind Infused with warm-heartedness, fun and joy to encourage everyone to participate regardless of abilities or fitness levels. Everyone can practice yoga, it’s never too late to start yoga. My oldest student is 92!


Young Yogis

Combining yoga postures with play, stories, group work, games including exercises focusing on breath, visualisation, relaxation and meditation. A balance between structure & spontaneity. It is a great opportunity to learn resilience and improve your child's focus & skills at managing stress.

Yoga Nidra for Sleep

Unwinding at the end of the day , settling into your own comfortable space for deep relaxation and blissful sleep. Yoga Nidra provides a way to gain the equanimity necessary to ease stress in our daily life. 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra has the rejuvenating effects of several hours of deep sleep.

The YOGA Teacher

Nalini Singam, a certified yoga therapist and yoga teacher, has 19 years experience in Investment Banking and Corporate Finance. Looking to relax from her stressful and demanding career, she tried out yoga. Experiencing a session of pranayama (breathing) in her first yoga class, Nalini realised that she had found the lifeline back to herself. After falling in love with yoga and embracing the practice for 13 years, Nalini traded in her high heels for bare feet.


Grounded with Gratitude was established in 2009 , taking her passion to a new level, offering Yoga & Meditation to people from all walks of life.


Nalini infuses her classes with warm-heartedness and joy to connect with her students. Keeping to authentic Yoga practice, she encourages students to work within their present capacity, only challenging themselves into stronger postures once the foundations are stable. Students are entreated to move deeply inward to find alignment that includes physical, mental and emotional balance, learning to connect the mind, body and breath.
